Former DSWD Secretary Soliman filed a complaint against DSWD Assistant Sec. Badoy.
SOLIMAN – The former secretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Corazon “Dinky” Soliman, filed a complaint against DSWD Assistant Sec. Lorraine Marie Badoy before the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
Based on a recent news report in Phil Star Global, the complaint that was reportedly filed against the Social Welfare Assistant Secretary was due to the recent posts of Badoy on the social media.
The former Welfare Secretary cited the Facebook posts of Badoy on the 17th, 28th, and 29th day of March.

Some provisions of the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees on professionalism and sincerity were allegedly violated by the cited social media posts.
Former DSWD Sec. Soliman said that DSWD Assistant Secretary should be oriented on the code of conduct of civil servants and she should be reprimanded by the CSC.
It is stated in the news report that in one of the posts of Badoy wherein she addressed those people who are against her, the DSWD Assistant Secretary utilized foul language.

According to the report, the Soliman cited another post of the Badoy wherein she stated that DSWD Sec. Judy Taguiwalo “has set right a department that was known for its cynicism and its dismal failure in protecting, nurturing, empowering the poor. And she will not stop until everything will be as it should be.”
Moreover, based on a report in GMA News, DSWD Assistant Sec. Badoy on March 26 posted: “Tapos ‘yung mga taga-EU [European Union], mag online child (–foul word(s) removed–) muna kayo. Diyan naman kayo magaling eh. (Wow. Uproar.)”
Reportedly, Badoy expressed that she is not afraid of the complaint that was filed against her by the former Secretary of the DSWD.
