Thai Woman Goes Viral After Offering Husband for “Rent” Following Infidelity Issue
A Thai woman goes viral online after offering her husband for rent for P47, 000 per month following an infidelity issue.
The woman, identified as Khun Kwang, is 31 years old. Reports say she discovered that her husband was involved with another woman. Hurt by what she found out, she came up with a surprising way to respond to the situation.
Instead of handling the issue privately, she prepared what she called a rental agreement. In this setup, she allowed another woman to live with her husband in exchange for a monthly payment of 30,000 baht, which is around P47,000.
“At that time, I was confused and shocked about what it was, but I didn’t ask or talk about anything. We went to bed separately. But because of my suspicions, I decided to hire a private investigator to check on my husband’s behavior, paying 10,000 baht per day. I agreed to pay, even though the investigator said it might not be resolved in one day. However, I provided crucial information, and in just one day, I received an important clue when the investigator reported that my husband had gone to a residence in the Ramkhamhaeng area,” said Khun.
Some people viewed her action as a creative way of dealing with betrayal, while others felt that the situation showed deeper problems within the relationship.
However, the arrangement did not move forward. The husband reportedly refused to agree to the terms set by his wife. It stopped the plan from being carried out.
A legal expert, Pat Anusorn, also explained that such an agreement would not be valid under Thai law. According to the lawyer, contracts like this go against morality and may be seen as supporting infidelity, which makes them legally unenforceable.
