A Diagram Showing Duterte’s Reasons In Discouraging Robredo’s Impeachment
Blogger Sass Rogando Sasot made a diagram explaining the reasons of President Duterte in discouraging the impeachment case against VP Robredo.
President Rodrigo Duterte was discouraging the impeachment case against Vice President Leni Robredo. Sasot explains that the president’s decision proves that it is a beneficial political move and was the wisest one.
Sasot posted a diagram explaining the reasons and the possible results of not supporting Robredo’s impeachment. The diagram shows that Mr. Duterte’s decision to discourage the impeachment complaint against the vice president would be in favor to him.
The diagram shows that if Duterte supports the impeachment case and Robredo will support the impeachment case against him. The VP will look like a power grabber and the president will look like politically persecuting Leni, but if Leni does not support the impeachment, she can avoid looking like a power grabber and Duterte will look like persecuting the VP, which is both favorable to Leni.
If President Duterte do not support the impeachment case against Leni, but VP would approve the impeachment against him. Robredo will prove that she’s a power grabber against Rody who supported her to stay in power. If Robredo disagrees against Duterte’s impeachment she can avoid being in a bad image and the president will not look like persecuting Leni, which is both favorable to Duterte.

Sasot also said that the vice president has no choice but to reflect on Duterte’s action and discourage the impeachment case against him.
