President Duterte Allow TPB Employees To File Cases Against Montano

President Rodrigo Duterte allow the employees of Tourism Promotion Board (TPB) to file cases against Montano over alleged misused of authority.

Mr. Duterte told the TPB employees that they can file charges against TPB chief operating officer and actor Cesar Montano if they really think that the actor abused his authority. But despite the accusations against the actor, the president said that he appoints Montano because he fully trusts him.

The president said that he never thought that the actor would monetize the government because he has already money so he doesn’t think that Montano would do that.

File Cases

Previously, TPB employees sent a formal letter to the frontline in the Office of the President filing their complaints against the actor over alleged anomalous contracts and hiring his own staff with a role similar to incumbent employees.

Montano allegedly approved numerous proposals for concert and entertainment without the consent of its respective department. He was also accused charging his expenses on the transactions, which are not related to TPB’s program.

The actor was also accused of hiring his own staff, which is not necessary/ TBP employees also complains about the errant behavior of Montano as TPB chief for leaving meetings earlier than schedule, failing to sign urgent documents, and being out of focus during meetings.

Meanwhile, Montano explained that can’t he give any comment yet about the accusations and complaint against him until the person in his office behind those complaints appears.
