Muslim Cadets Top Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class 2017

Muslim Cadets topped the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class 2017.

Philippines – Muslim youth leader and a badjao cadet make it to the top 10 graduates of Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA).

Cadet Macdum Enca slayed as he topped the class among 144-member graduating Masidlak class of PNPA.

In a recent news report of Inquirer.net, Cadet Macdum Enca said his “Passion to help others” pushes him to enter the police academy in Cavite province.

“I kind of developed the sense and passion for helping other people,” Enca said.

Enca shared that after he passed the PNPA entrance examination in 2012, he became a part of a one-year student exchange program of the nonprofit American Field Services Intercultural Programs in St. Louis, Missouri.

“Being a Muslim Should never be a hindrance to our desire to help. Whether a Christian or a Muslim, it doesn’t matter to the Almighty,” he said.

Enca also said that he is the first in the family who will join the Philippine National Police (PNP).

Another Muslim cadet makes it to the top 10.

Cadet  Midzfar Omar, 21, ranked as the second top ranking cadet.

Omar shared that he is a proud badjao. He also the reminisced his past experiences, wherein he remembered their house by the shore in Tawi-Tawi.

Omar was very thankful that his parents were very supportive in his education.

“Only through education that Badjaos can show that we are not inferior; that we, too, can excel,” he said.

Fifth, Harley Glenn Bacarro Galpo from Cagayan de Oro City.

Sixth, Sailani Bacarat Armama from Cagayan de Oro City.

Seventh, Michael Salendab Daunotan from Sultan Kudarat.

Eighth, Ian Rey Canen Diolanto from Polomolok, South Cotabato.

Ninth, Michael John Suniega Sentinta from Isulan Sultan Kudarat.

Tenth, Maysy Villaflor Cataquiz from Quezon.
