Look! Court Issues Arrest Warrant Vs. De Lima, Brave Senator Says Her Fight Will Continue

The Muntinlupa Court has issued warrants of arrest against Sen. De Lima and two others.

COURT – After the Muntinlupa Regional Trial Court Branch 204 has issued a warrant of arrest against Sen. Leila De Lima, the brave lawmaker said that her fight will continue.

The issue regarding the expected arrest of Sen. De Lima has sparked lots of news reports lately. Yesterday, the Muntinlupa Court has already issued the arrest warrants against the lady Senator, Ronnie Dayan, and Rafael Ragos.

Based on a recent news report in Phil Star Global, at past 7:00 in the evening on Thursday, the lady Senator, speaking in front of the press, has expressed that her fight will continue.

According to the report, her colleagues in the Senate who are also under the Liberal Party were with Sen. De Lima during the media briefing. However, Sen. De Lima did not take quests from the reporters.

Based on the news report, after a meeting with her fellow lawmakers that went for several hours, the lady Senator asked for prayers from the public regarding her safety during her detainment as she had spoken to the press.

On Thursday night, Sen. De Lima decided to spend the night with her family after the arrest warrant has not yet been served at around 7:20 in the evening.

However, based on the report, she expressed that she will go back to the Senate on Friday and “voluntarily surrender” herself to the arresting team.

“I have no plans to hide because I will face all of those cases,” the lady Senator said according to the report.

Meanwhile, recently, news reports stating Sen. De Lima went back to the chamber on Thursday night broke in. Based on a report, the arresting team went to the residence of the Senator in  Parañaque on Thursday night, however, she was not there.

According to the Senator, she feels “unsafe” if she will be arrested that night.
