Davao City – Edge Davao shares the iconic photo of President Rodrigo Duterte crying at the coffin of the fallen soldier has caught the attention of the netizens on social media.
President Duterte recently visited the wake of the soldiers slain by the NPA landmine in Davao.
According to the military, soldiers were pursuing armed men who burned down a pineapple harvester owned by Del Monte in Calinan District, Davao City. Two soldiers were killed while 15 others were injured after their convoy hit a landmine of the New People’s Army (NPA).
President Rodrigo Duterte paid a tribute to the two slain soldiers who were identified as Corporal Michael Yadao and Private Virnel Damondon.
In a Facebook post of Edge Davao, they captured a photo of President Rodrigo Duterte crying at the coffin of the fallen soldier.
