Salisi Gang member caught on video stealing the phone of a Bulacan restaurant employee has gone viral on social media.
In a recent news report of ABS-CBN news, a “Salisi Gang” member was caught on a CCTV stealing a smartphone while pretending to ask for solicitation from an employee.
The intense incident happened at the legendary Barneys Burger in Meycauayan, Bulacan.
CCTV footage shows that the female cashier was busy. She can be seen on the video leaving her phone on the counter, where a male employee staying at.
The female employee leaves the counter and goes to the kitchen.
A few moments later, a motorcycle stops in front of the restaurant with its passenger getting off and then entering the establishment while carrying two pieces of bond paper.
According to the report, the man in black shirt approached the counter and asked the male employee for solicitations.
The suspect already noticed the phone in front of him, he used the bond paper that he was carrying to cover the smartphone on top of the counter as he stole it in a calm and relax manner.
The male employee never noticed that the phone was gone. The alleged member of the “Salisi Gang” then left the restaurant after being successful for his sneaky crime.
He escaped the place with the smartphone via the motorcycle.
In an interview with ABS-CBN news with the owner of the restaurant, he shared to the media that the female cashier worked so long and saved her money to buy the phone.
The owner also expressed his hope that through the use of the CCTV footage of the incident, the thieves would get caught.
The video of the incident was now taking the social media by storm!
Many of the netizens were quick and reacted on the video and lambasted the thief.
