Duterte Says He Would Have Killed Drug Suspects In San Juan Drug Bust If He Was There

Pres. Duterte expressed an intense statement to nabbed drug suspects in San Juan City.

DUTERTE – Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte aired out an intense statement regarding the recent drug bust operation in San Juan City.

Pres. Duterte has been known as a tough-talking man who really hates illegal drugs since then. He has even promised during the election campaign that he will clean the country from illegal drugs within three to six months.

Based in a previous news report, one of the achievements of the Duterte Administration is the ‘war on drugs’ campaign. Around 900,000 drugs users have already surrendered themselves to the authorities.

Since the 71-year-old President assumed the post, he and his administration’s campaign against illegal drugs have urged many drug users to surrender and as well as many illegal drug laboratories were discovered by the authorities.

In a recent news report in GMA News Online, it is stated that Pres. Duterte expressed, during his visit to the victims of Typhoon Nina in Camarines Sur, that his campaign against illegal drugs won’t stop until the last drug pusher is ‘out of the streets’ and the ‘last drug lord is killed’.

Recently, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) led a drug raid 560 kilograms of illegal drugs has been found by the NBI agents. The illegal drugs seized at a residence in Mangga St. in Barangay Little Baguio is worth P3.35 billion according to the report.

The report also entailed that Pres. Duterte said that the suspects were lucky as he was not in Manila or he would have killed them. He emphasized that he will be the one to shot if no one will do it.

The nabbed drug suspects in San Juan City drug bust were identified as Chinese nationals Che Wen De, Wu Li Yong, and Shi Gui Xiong, and Filipinos Salim Cocodao Arafat, Basher Tawaki Jamal, and Abdullah Mahmod Jahmal.

Based on the report, the drug bust in San Juan City was part of the drug raids led by the NBI that hooked 890 kilograms of illegal drugs in total. It is worth around P6 billion.

Reportedly, there are lots of names on the President’s list of drugs suspects. A thick pile of papers contains the names of drug suspects. Nevertheless, the 71-year-old chief executive said that there is no stepping back from it.

To aid the reformation of the drug users who have surrendered themselves to the authorities, there are several drug rehabilitation facilities that cater drug patients.
