Based on a previous news report, there were even two test takers who were very happy with the result as they were both topnotchers in the exam. They were college buddies way back in their tertiary education years.

Social media were then filled with a lot of posts regarding the LET exam when the results went out. Passers were grateful and those who did not make it are still hopeful as they wait for their own time zone.

However, one post seem quite different from the rest as a LET passer claimed that the exam was easy and he expressed his doubts on why others can’t make it. The netizen was then bashed by other netizens for the viral post.

One prominent person in the field of education and board review, Carl E. Balita, reacted on the post of the LET passer who claimed that the exam was easy.

Balita pointed out in his post in his Facebook page that the ‘board exam is not a sole measure of being a teacher’.

He stated: ‘I bet, he passed the LET but it does not necessarily make him a TEACHER.’

Furthermore, he emphasized that the 300-item test or 450-item test for those having a specific major is ‘not a measure of being a teacher’.

Balita ended his post with an encouragement to those who did not make it as he noted, ‘HOLD ON TO YOUR DREAM NO MATTER HOW MANY TAKES IT TAKES! Failure, if not fatal, makes us strong!’
