Recently, the son of the late mayor of Leyte, Kerwin Espinosa, divulged his claim stating that he has met Sen. Leila De Lima in Baguio City – a statement denied by the Senator to reporters right after a senate hearing of the committee on public order has ended based on a report.
Sen. De Lima said to the reporters based on the report, “I do not remember any instance or occasion of having met him. I categorically, firmly, and absolutely deny having received any money, any cash, from Mr. Kerwin Espinosa.”
