Japan Coast Guard Reports Intrusion Of Chinese Vessels Near Territorial Waters

Chinese vessels sailed near into the territorial waters around the disputed island in the East China Sea, reported by Japan’s coast guard.

On Saturday (November 12, 2016), Japan’s coast guard reported that it was the second incident where Chinese vessels entered the disputed waters. The waters surrounding the island chain called Senkaku in Japanese and Diaoyu in Chinese was entered by four Chinese coast guard vessels.

Japan’s coast guard said that the Chinese vessels arrived at the territorial water at around 10:30 am and left after two hours. The first incident happened on Sunday (November 06, 2016) and the second one is on Saturday.

Tokyo is about to lodge a complaint against to China’s foreign ministry through its embassy in Beijing. Japan will complain against the Chinese vessels who entered their uninhabited islets or an inherent territory of Japan.
