FINANCE SECRETARY DOMINGUEZ – Carlos Dominguez spoke on the matter about the business transactions between the Philippines and the United States.
Undeniably, the relationships of the Philippines with other countries have been recently challenged by certain factors. The ties between PH and China were tried by the territorial dispute over the West Philippine Sea.
PH-United States alliance has also been challenged. The long-time ally of the Philippines has received several tirades from Pres. Rodrigo ‘Rody’ Duterte recently as U.S. showed concern on the alleged extrajudicial killings in the country.
The ties between Philippines and U.S. now poses a lot of question marks on the minds of everyone with regards to its real status after Pres. Duterte announced economic and military separation from the United States during his visit in China.
