CONTROVERSIAL TWEET – Journalist Raissa Robles recently tweeted on social media and its content became an attraction to netizens.
A recent news report in Pinoy Trending News entailed about the tweet of Raissa Robles which became controversial. The content of tweet has something to do with the running for presidency of the late former Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago.
Recent reports contained about a sad news on the passing of the former Senator who is undeniably loved by many netizens most especially youths. The news reports were followed by expression of griefs on social media containing the common line ‘Miriam Defensor-Santiago, the best president the Philippines never had’.
Quite going away from the usual posts and tweets is the tweet of journalist Raissa Robles which contained, ‘If MDS had become President and her VP had won, Bongbong Marcos would now be President. Think about it.’
Another tweet from Robles followed it saying ‘MDS was also one of Ferdinand Marcos’ speech writers.’
Based on the report, one Twitter user, Dee Vee, replied on Robles’ tweet. Dee Vee made mention of politics.
Another twitter user Laudemer Beltran addressed Robles as ‘bastos’ for her tweet.
Robles’ tweet has get into the nerves of some netizens who find it inappropriate in relation to the mourning and grieving of the former Senator’s family as of the moment.
