President Rodrigo Duterte challenges media to criticize him if he fails to do his duty for the country, as it is also the duty of the media for the country.

The report said that Duterte is answering a question from the media regarding the ‘mistaken’ media reports that starting from his pre-departure speech that has alleged ‘colorful statements’ against United Stated President Barack Obama.

Duterte said that people commit mistakes, some with malice or none.

According to him, if the error “is just a mere shortfall of talent, hayaan mo na… I would like to presume that you did it without malice.”

Also, Duterte called on the media cameramen saying that their role is huge because they are “recording the history of this country.”

“Yun mga camera diyan kayo ang kukuha diyan … baka minamaliit ninyo ang role ninyo in the entire gamut of media. You are recording the history of this country,” he said.

“Someday, ‘pag-on nila na ganon tapos walang lumabas, na-blur, ay anak ka ng *** Natulog siguro yung [expletive] doon sa…,” he added.
