SENATOR DE LIMA – After hearing about the remarks of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte during the Philippine National Police (PNP)’s 115th service anniversary in Camp Crame, Senator Leila De Lima was in teary eyes as she spoke her side.
Way back in the past, there are already issues between the President and the newbie Senator. Their shaking of hands after the first State of the Nation Address of the President even became a shock and a headline right away.
Nevertheless, despite the past issues, the Senator treated it as a proof that they are not taking things personally. After then, there was lesser talks about the Duterte-De Lima issues.
A recent news report in GMA news might be another spark for a fire as the Senator gave her side on the remarks of the President in one event with the police authorities at Camp Crame.
According to the report, during the President’s talk in the said event, he made mention of a senator who complains against his campaign on drugs.
