Manila, Philippines – Radio DJ and host Karen Bordador and her boyfriend Emilio Lim was arrested after a buy bust operation over the weekend. Numerous radio personalities express their shock on the social media after knowing what happened.
DJ Suzy, Tin Gamboa, posted a message on her askfm account saying;
“I feel really bad for her. We’ve met – we even used to be under the same management. But we never got closed for some reason. Honestly, and this is from a completely unbiased person, feel ko nadawit lang siya. I HIGHLY DOUBT SHE’S INVOLVED IN THE OPERATIONS. As to whether or not she knew about her boyfriend’s activities, yon di ko alam.”
“But to label her as a drug dealer I think medyo harsh. What did the public expect her to do, turn in her own boyfriend? But as spectators, we should always give people the benefit of the doubt. Innocent until proven guilty. I really feel for her, can you imagine how terrified she is right now? I will pray for her and I hope she gets through this – especially if tama nga ako na nadawit lang siya (I’m right she was just dragged into this).”
These are just one of the messages posted on the social media that shows sympathy to the DJ and saying that she was innocent.
DJ Janice Racelis said on her post, “Wow people get the news so twisted! Karen Bordador wasn’t selling drugs. She was just visiting her boyfriend when he got busted.”
TV Patrol report said that there were approximately P3 million worth of drugs was recovered at the condo unit. There were also drug paraphernalia, money and a money counting machine found in the unit in Pasig City, Saturday afternoon, August 13.
Karen Bordador was heard saying in a report from 24 Oras: “Wla po akong ginagawa… bumisita lang ako.” (I wasn’t doing anything… I just visited.)
