HEART RECIPIENT – Arthur Thomas, a retired adviser in college, walked down the aisle Jeni Stepien, the daughter of the donor of his heart, Pennsylvania.
Most girls really see wedding as the most important event in their lives. It is a time for a new beginning as she is about to embrace another phase of life – a phase that will set her out of her comfort zone and challenge her to build a family of her own.
Aside from the feeling that the wedding day usually brings the bride, another thing that means a lot is to be walked down the aisle by her parents. It is like a complete picture of a happy story. Yet not every bride gets to experience it.
Jeni Stepien, though her father is not physically on her wedding day, his heart was there as reported in Inquirer. After losing his life in an unexpected event, Jeni and her mom decided to donate the organs of his father.
