Miss Philippines Will Meet Miss China Soon In the Pageant
Bilibining Pilipinas will meet Miss China soon in the international beauty pageant. On Wednesday (August 03, 2016) the queens of Binibinang Pilipinas have been interviewed and also talked about political matters and the increase of extrajudicial killings against anti-drug campaign in our country.
The queens have different opinions for the topic then another question was thrown. The question on them is “How will you treat Miss China?”
Recently Philippines and China have tension in between because of denial of their territorial claim at the West Philippine Sea. The Permanent Court of Arbitration declared last July 12, 2016 that the Scarborough Shoal was a common fishing ground.
But still China continues to claim the “nine-dash line”. They invalidate the rule of the court and the citizens start to express their disfavor on them in their comments in the internet.
Nicole Cordoves said that the law must be obeyed as it is implemented. She has also a Chinese blood so she will speak mandarin to Miss China as friendly approach. Nicole was the Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2016.
