VP LENY ROBREDO – The Vice President of the Philippines, Leny Robredo, just garnered a new title given by the Thai government. The title is truly another pride of the Philippines and the Filipinos.
Phil Star Global report entailed that the government of Thailand has honored VP Leny Robredo as the ‘Honorary Outstanding Women in 2016’.
The given title is in recognition of the strong will of the Vice President to preserve and empower the rights of the women in the country.
According to the office of the Vice President, the award will be given to VP Leny on the Thai Women’s Day Celebration in Thailand.
Aside from the pride that the Vice President has bestowed upon the country, there is also an update of progress in her desire to make education available even in the farthest and the poorest areas in the country.
According to the report, private sectors have expressed their willingness to fund the classroom construction in Punta, Tarawal, Calabanga, Camarines Sur.
