Couple reveal that they were sleeping with their carabaos at night and even fed the creatures every two hours in the evening. Why do they do this?
In a report in Inquirer, Victoriano and Dominga Dumale of Nueva Ecija said that they treat their carabaos as their offspring that is why they were giving them their rigid attention.
According to Victoriano, he feeds their carabao every two hours at night so as to secure that their needs in terms of nutrition is met. With this, in return, the carabaos give them milk which is being delivered to a dairy cooperative in Nueva Ecija.
The 59-year-old man shared the difficult life that he and his family had lived before. According to him, they have many loans just to be able to cope up with their needs. That was before he knew about carabao dairying.
The report stated that it was in 2010 when the man knew of the Philippine Carabao Center which provided him a Brazilian water buffalo.
