China Makes Civilian Air Landings At The Disputed Islands

China has landed two civilian aircraft’s on the disputed islands particularly Mischief Reef and Subi Reef. Which the Philippines had been previously awarded its sovereignty rights, state broadcaster CCTV reported.

Reports have indicated the said aircraft returned from where they had taken off, specifically in the Southern Chinese island province of Hainan.

Chinese Foreign Ministry rejected the previous ruling of the international arbitration court that oppose their claims in the economic rights across the West Philippine Sea. In which they vowed to take all the necessary measures to protect their sovereignty rights over the disputed islands.

In response, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China said the award of the Permanent Court of Arbitration “is null and void and has no binding force. China neither accepts nor recognizes it.

Chinese state media release a statement in which they called the Permanent Court of Arbitration in the Hague a “puppet” of any external forces after the decision in which it favors the Philippines in which China had breach the sovereignty rights by risking fishermen ships, putting damage to the ecosystem and oil projects.
