One of the country’s most popular celebrity and often dubbed as the most beautiful actress of our generations, Anne Curtis will be featured in a movie with Filipino-American MMA star Brandon Vera.
According to the 31-year-old Anne Curtis she is currently undergoing a rigorous kali martial arts training in preparation for her movie with the MMA star, the movie will be directed by the veteran and award-winning director Erik Matti.
In an interview with ABS-CBN the actress was quoted as saying “Excited ako kasi nga hindi ko pa siya ginagawa and it’s actually always been something that I’ve wanted to do. Game kaagad. Ine-enjoy ko siya. I guess it helps that I’m also very active. Doing something na challenging excites me,” she said.
The It’s Showtime host said she is trying to learn as much from her training because she wants to do all her stunts in the movie herself which is contrary to the usual using of stunt actors to perform for the actress.
Meanwhile, according to the superstar MMA fighter Brandon Vera said he is impressed with Anne Curtis particularly on her improvement despite training for only a few days.
Brandon Vera was quoted as saying “I’m very interested in watching Anne train. Nakita ko ‘yung first day niya. From first day to day six, ibang tao na talaga. Natututo siyang mahusay, maayos. I don’t know how to explain it in Tagalog but she’s a beast. If you’re lucky enough to watch Anne train, you can see how focused she is,” he said.
According to the Kapamilya Channel the still-untitled action-drama film will reportedly be shown in theaters internationally. Brandon Vera also noted that he will now live in the Philippines for good. The father of Brandon Vera, Ernesto Vera grew up in Quezon Province.
