During the interview of the upcoming president, he told Soho that he is serious for opening Cabinet posts to the communist leaders.

“Is that what you want? Fighting the revolutionaries is not part of criminal activity. It’s not even a punitive action against them,” he said. “Why? Because it is fueled by an ideology,” he added.

“I am not 70 years old, I’ve been a mayor, congressman, and everything, and now president, and we are still fighting,” he said. “So, how long do you want to fight?” he added.

On Monday, May 16, 2016, Duterte told the press that he is offering Cabinet posts of Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to communist leaders.

In his interview with Jessica Soho for State of the Nation of GMA News TV which was published in article of PEP.ph, Duterte noted that he is going to make an executive order for Freedom of Information (FOI) Bill as soon as he assume the presidency.

So I would like to assure everybody that in my term, I can only speak for my branch of government, executive, it should have been no secret at all.”

Duterte was also asked being brisked in his campaign and according to him, it was only a mere strategy to be likened by people, being true to himself.
