An IT expert who is an accredited observer of the poll watchdog PPCRV, has in possession of an evidence that shows the hash code of the Comelec transparency server has been breached by Smartmatic Officials to introduce a new script that may have “rigged” the results and compromised the entire system in partial and unofficial counting in favor of administration candidates particularly in the Vice Presidential race.
According to the IT expert who requested anonymity, said a “clogging” in the system was observed and the one-million lead by independent Vice Presidential candidate Sen. Bongbong Marcos over his closest rival Rep. Leni Robredo started to narrow down although the camp of Robredo denied the alleged breached on transparency server.
Once proven the said “major breach” would now compel Sen. Marcos and other senatorial candidates – Francis Tolentino, Sen. Serge Osmena III and Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez – who ranked 13th, 14th and 15th, respectively, to question the integrity of the results and demand answers from the COMELEC how the violation of protocols could have possibly happened.
The IT expert who was the source of information also noted that all transparency server of the COMELEC is the only souce of PPCRV’s unofficial and Comelec’s official results, therefore a breach in the transparency server would mean that the unofficial and official results will be the same.
In an interview with The Standard, the IT Expert was quoted as saying “The whole system has been compromised. The integrity of the results is now under question. While everybody was busy doing the counting, the Venezuelan IT expert from Smartmatic inserted a new script or a new computer program into the system around 7:30 p.m.of Monday, May 9, 2016,” the IT expert told The Standard.
Aside from the statement of the IT expert about the alleged “breached” that source also noted that there is also a recorded video and audio of the said incident particularly the confrontation between a Venezuelan IT expert and the PPCRV. The Venezuelan IT expert also admitted that the order to introduce a new script cmae from Marlon Garcia, project director of Smartmatic.
