Kapamilya stars Xian Lim and KC Concepcion will host the highly anticipated coronation night of the Bb. Pilipinas 2016 beauty pageant. The country’s most prestigious beauty pageant, Bb. Pilipinas will be held this Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the historic Smart-Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
During last year’s Bb. Pilipinas Xian Lim also hosted the beauty pageant alongside fellow Kapamilya star Toni Gonzaga. Xian Lim was also the host of the 2014 Bb. Pilipinas with Anne Curtis.
This year’s Bb. Pilipinas is the 53rd edition of the beauty pageant the produces a total of three Miss Unviverse titles for the Philippines. The Bb. Pilipinas 2016 will be having a hard task to continue the legacy of Philippine beauties as the country defends it’s title in the world’s most prestigious beauty pageant.
The Bb. Pilipinas 2016 will crown the representatives of the Philippines in Two of the Big Four International beauty pageant: the Miss Universe and Miss International. The other major international beauty pageants are the Miss Supranational, Miss Intercontinental, and Miss Grand International.
Miss Universe 2015 title holder Pia Wurtzbach will crown her successor during the coronation night which will be aired on national TV through ABS-CBN. The other winners of this year’s Bb. Pilpinas will be crown by their respective predecessors, namely Miss Janicel Lubina (Miss International Top 10 Finalist), Rogelie Catacutan (Miss Supranational 2015 Top 20 Semi-Finalist), Christi McGarry (MIss Intercontinental 2015 1st Runner-up), Ann Lorraine Colis (Miss Globe 2015), and Parul Shah (Miss Grand International 2015 3rd Runner-up).
