Several coalition groups planned in Washington days ago and they opted for protests. They considered the act as a part of a series of “Democracy Spring” which they uphold firmly.

As they have their butts rested on the East Front of the United States Capitol, the protesters brought along with them sign boards which signify their strong fists on “one person, one vote” and “money out of politics” beliefs.

There was even a specialized slogan for two billionaire businessmen who vowed to spearhead an estimated $900 million campaign. David Koch and Charles Koch then opted to support favored candidates in the election cycle in the present status quo. The people shouted in their slogans that things go better without Koch.

Hindering the citizens from their right to participate in the votation was also raised by the protesters. It goes with their state voter ID laws.

Protesters also chanted for those members of the  congress who are receiving votes at the Democratic National Convention though they are not elected or their so-called democratic superdelegates. These entities are not elected in primary elections.

In response to the chaotic condition, large group of police separated the two groups of protesters. They were handcuffed and led into shuttles vans and buses which made the crowd shout their thoughts even more.

According to the U.S. Capitol Police, there were around 400 protesters that were arrested that Monday evening for the unlawful activity done.

Days ago, most of the protester walked from Philadelphia to Washington.
