Veteran columnist and journalist of the Philippine Star, Carmen Pedrosa shared on her column in one of the country’s largest daily newspaper the main reasons why Mayor Rodrigo Duterte’s crowd is omnipresent or present everywhere the mayor goes.
According to Carmen Pedrosa, the Duterte campaign became a fever and many caught it in owns and cities in most parts of the country. The journalist even noted that even traditional politicians cannot overcome this kind of fever because friends of Duterte groups are spreading out over Facebook and Twitter.
Pedrosa also stated that if Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is omnipresent to at least third of the 100 million Filipinos who are connected by the internet everyday and every hour, the fever will surely spills out of social media into the real physical world.
The Philippine Star columnist also stated that the popularity of Mayor Rody Duterte is indeed hard to break because the people have spoken through Duterte crowds and it is clear whom they wan as president, no other than Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao City.
