When the camp of Mayor Duterte was asked whether the former president endorsed his candidacy, Peter Lavina the spokesperson of Mayor Duterte, the answer is seen in a photo of Ramos raising the hands of Mayor Duterte and his running mate Sen. Alan Cayetano.
The Duterte camp did not release an official statement regarding the endorsement of former President Ramos but one of Duterte’s closest aide Christopher Bong Go posted on his Facebook wall the photos of the former president Ramos raising Mayor Duterte’s hands alongside his running mate.
The photo of the former President raising Mayor Duterte’s hand and the mayor wearing the cap of President Ramos was an indication according to his supporters that the former President is supporting the candidacy of Mayor Duterte. When Sen. Cayetano was asked on the alleged endorsement, the senator just answered that he would let FVR tell the people who he is endorsing.
