One of the closest ally of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, former Governor Manny Piñol gives some lessons to Department of Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala for promoting Mar Roxas by inviting the wife of the Liberal Party standard bearer in the government program in distributing aids to local farmers.
According to the veteran journalist and one of the most well-known politicians in Mindanao, the DA Secretary appears to have missed a lot of his cl(–foul word(s) removed–) in Political Science 101 when he said that he saw nothing wrong with the presence of Korina Sanchez-Roxas, the wife of Mar Roxas in the official activities of the Department of Agriculture.
The veteran journalist and TV host Korina Sanchez came under fire when she was seen helping the Department of Agriculture in distributing some of the farmers most important needs which according to Peter Laviña one of them involved P611-million worth of agriculture funds.
In a report posted earlier, DA Secretary Alcala declared that “should Roxas win, he would continue the Aquino administration’s programs for farmers, among them, the construction of more farm-to-market roads, the organic fertilizer program and irrigation projects.”
The DA Secretary also stated that he saw nothing wrong in the controversial presence of Korina Sanchez in an event organized by his Department particularly in distributing aids to local farmers which also happened during the election period.
