The most popular movie of Star Cinema during the Metro Manila Film Festival,the movie “Beauty and the Beastie” has already earned nearly P500 million or an estimated earnings of P474 million on box office returns.
The announcement of the total income of the Star Cinema movie featuring Vice Ganda and Coco Martin was revealed to the viewing public on Monday by It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis.
For the Metro Manila Film Festival executive committee they did not release an official figures about the box office income of each official MMFF entry but they announced earlier that the movie “Beauty and the Beastie” is this season’s top-grossing entry beating Vic Sotto’s “My Bebe Love.”
Last January 7, 2016, the MMFF announced to the public that the eight official entries of the Metro Manila Film Festival have collectively made P1.02 billion, surpassing last year’s box office haul of P1.014 billion.
