The country’s Teen King and Queen, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo visited Vietnam and accepted the award for the Best Foreign Actor and Actress at the 2015 Face of the Year Awards held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on Friday evening.
Kathryn Bernardo could believe that she was in Vietnam to accept the award as Best Foreign Actress after she was recognized for her role as Chichay in the hit Kapamilya series “Got To Believe” alongside Daniel Padilla.
Daniel Padilla was also awarded with the Best in Foreign Actor Award in the 2015 Face of the Year Awards held in Vietnam. According to the organizers of the award-giving body, the winners were based on public votes.
ABS-CBN revealed that the Star Creatives-produced series proved to be a hit with Vietnamese viewers as it posted strong primetime ratings during its run last year.
Aside from the KathNiel love team, during the past years, other Filipino actors also bagged major awards in the competition which include Kapamilya stars Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria for their respective roles in the hit series “Be Careful With My Heart.”
