Most of us wondered if there is a planet outside our solar system which could support life.
For over the years of searching to find out for an answer about the possibility that there could be a planet other than the earth that could support life, NASA’s Kepler telescope has already found something more like of our planet.
On Thursday, the discovery of the planet was announced at a press conference by Jon Jenkins of NASA.
Jenkins described the new world as Earth’s “older, bigger cousin.”
The newly discovered planet was named Kepler-452b which is 1, 400 light years away from Earth.
It has a diameter that is 60 percent larger than the Earth’s.
