It came as a peculiar spectacle, but what is behind his story is worth reading.
One man has even elevated the sense of helping for charity through flying, but what made this even more different from the strangest things people could do is that he jumps off 10, 000 feet from a plane naked. Yes nothing to wear but just safety belts.
Howard Smith, may be a guy of insane gestures but his heart is big enough for a cause.
The idea of jumping off naked came as a joke, but the 50-year old electrical engineers soon found it as a good twist on the fundraising challenged.
And this helped him treble the amount he raised in the jump he made last year.
Now he raked more than £5,500 for that epic flight.
All he collected will go to PONT, a charity helping poverty-stricken communities in Mbale, Uganda.
His latest jump was made just on Saturday, July 11 through UK Skydiving Centres.
“I was certainly feeling cold on the plane up – and when the doors opened – but once I got my legs over the edge it manipulates your mind and I completely forgot I was naked.” Howard told reporters.

“It’s been of great benefit to the charity, if not to my reputation,” he added.
PONT’s latest project is the creation of an emergency ambulance service in Mbale, using eRanger motorbike ambulances.
