Jhoas Sumatra joined the elite number of kids who made it to the next round of the country’s most popular singing competition on national TV as he passed the Blind Audition with two judges turning their respective chairs for him.

The 12-year-old Jhoas Sumatra revealed the his family fails from Zamboanga Sibugay, but they are currently staying in Taguig, Metro Manila.
According to the aspiring kid singer, his father, who owns a barber shop saved his earnings so that his entire family could move to Manila.
Jhoas Sumatra performed one of the most popular song of the legendary British band, the Beatles titled “Help,” during the blind audition wherein coaches Lea Salonga and Bamboo turned for him.
Coach Bamboo noted that he really praised Sumatra’s confidence on stage who even performed a rap number after his blind audition piece. For Coach Leah, she stated the boy’s confidence really entice him to turned for Jhoas Sumatra.
At the end of Jhoas Sumatra’s performance, he eventually decided to chose Coach Leah Salonga. He joins Kiyana Bongat, Luke James Alford, Bianca Marbella, Jeomar Lazarraga, Noah Anderson, Reynan Dal-anay, Stephanie Jordan, Telesa Marie de Torres, Angel Enerio and Rovelyn Marquesa in Salonga’s team.
