New project launching neighborhood Forbes Hill is expected in Bacolod as Megaworld Corp. property developer and tycoon Andre Tan debuted into upscale residential development in the city.
The company said Monday that the new project brings to the property market 197 residential lots with sizes ranging from 449 square meters to 861 square meteres prices at P16, 000 to P17, 000 per square meter.
The high-end residential development is located along the up-and-coming lifestyle district of the new Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road.
The 53-hecatare Northill Gateway which is envisioned to be a lifestyle district will house residential villages, a 7.5-hectare mix-used office and retail development, leisure and recreational hubs and well as institutional facilities.
Megaworld with Suntrust Properties, Inc. partnered with the Lacson Family in developing the “refreshing” district.
“Finally, Megaworld is rolling out a premiere residential offering for Bacolod. This is the company’s first venture for a luxury village outside of Metro Manila because we recognize the sophisticated market in this wonderful province,” said Rachelle Penaflorida, vice president for sales and marketing at Megaworld Premier Bacolod.
Penflorida said that “exclusivity and privacy” are guaranteed because there would only be 197 home owners or even less in Forbes Hill.
It will feature events hall, fitness center, game room, entertainment room, lap pool, children’s pool, a gazebo park, and a basketball court.
“More importantly, we are giving our residents with a wider breadth of lifestyle amenities that the entire Northill Gateway township brings – from malls and commercial centers to office spaces and educational institutions – everything will just be within reach. Megaworld is bringing its pioneering love-work-play-learn concept to the future residents of Forbes Hill which will be the first in Negros Occidental and Bacolod City,” Penaflorida added.
