Trixie Madamba, said that Simon Mann, the head of the school of BSM, and Simon Bewlay, board of governors chair, must resign over its handling of Liam’s case who committed suicide after being “bullied” by a teacher.

“I demand for the resignation of the board chairman Simon Bewlay and the head of school Simon Mann because as administrators, they completely lack any sense of compassion or empathy, no openness or accountability, no sense of responsibility at all. It has been more than three months,” she told ANC’s Headstart.

ANC meanwhile contacted the school’s management to air their side on the issue but there was no representative available to respond on media’s request.

Mrs. Madamba criticized the two school officials for releasing an edited version of an interdependent review panel that was formed to investigate on the son’s suicide as well as BSM policies.

In the interview, she sought help from the Department of Education to compel BSM to release its full report.

The mother also pointed out the head of school for allowing Natalie Mann, accused for son’s bullying, to leave the country.

When asked about pursuing the teacher, she said: “She’s long gone…”

However, Mrs. Madamba was firm that the Bewlay and Mann mishandled the case and that they “constantly deceived and connived to cover up their mistakes.”

Liam, 18, supposedly jumped from the 6th floor of the building in Makati on February 6 to which the family blame Mann for accusing that the graduating student committed plagiarism on the first drfat of his school paper.

Mrs. Madamba also accused that Mann threatened and humiliated the boy.

in the interview, the mother said she will be consulting her family about the possible charges against two officials she considers as “disgrace to the school and a disgrace to the British community in this country”.

“They need to go for the sake of the children who are in school. What happened to Liam should not happen to anybody else,” she disclosed.
