For Senator Grace Poe, there are a lot of things she still has to pray for and that include what is the right thing to do.
The Liberal party continues its push eyeing Poe to be Interior Secretary Mar Roxas’ running mate in the coming 2016 presidential elections.
Earlier, LP’s political affairs adviser and Caloocan Rep. Edgar Erico admitted that the party has formally started wooing the senator to be part of their slate.
The buzz for the tandem has come since last month following the high rating Poe got from a survey.
Meanwhile, Senate President Franklin Drilon expressed his support to the tandem.
“Grace Poe is very good. But what’s needed still has to be seriously discussed.” He said.
However, Poe remained mum on the LP’s push.
“There have been talks about, but they’re the only ones saying I’ve been offered [the position]”, she said.
The senator is perhaps not in rush to commit to any political alliances.
“There are a lot of things I still have to pray for so I’d know what is the right thing to do.”, she added.
The senator also seeks the guidance of her late father Fernando Poe, Jr.
