Kapamilya actress and host Kris Aquino has defended her son with Basketball star James Yap, Bimby Aquino-Yap from a follower on Instagram who bashed the child actor.
On Friday January 16, 2015, the “Feng Shui” star posted a video of Bimby Aquino-Yap’s birthday greetings to Alex Gonzaga, his co-star in the movie “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin.”
On the comment section, one of her followers commented something in Bisaya with a word “toyab” an inverted version of the word “bayot” which means gay in English.
Kris Aquino was angered by the comment and dared the commenter to say her comment personally to his son. She also said that any mother is willing to defend their 7-year-old son from the people offending them.
“Alam nyo kung balak nyong bastusin ang anak ko, do it harap harapan. Kasi hindi ko kayo aatrasan. Super nag PRAY ako today, pero kahit sinong nanay kung anak na seven years old and aapihin, papatol at handang RUMESBAK,” she wrote.
Many of her followers tried to calm her down but the actress explained that she is doing it to protect her son. After few minutes, her follower apologized to her, to which she accepted.
Meanwhile, Bimby Aquin0-Yap is now gearing up for his solo movie this year under Star Cinema, following the success of his box-office films “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin” and “My Big Bossings.”
Bimby Aquino-Yap will have also his own portion on the morning lifestyle show of his mother “Kris TV,” which airs from Mondays to Fridays morning after “Umagang Kay Ganda.”
