The United States Joint Typhoon Warning Center (JTWC) reported that Bagyong Ruby whose international name is “Hagupit” intensifies into a Tropical Storm as of Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Bagyong Ruby will be strongest on Friday, December 5-6, 2014 as it is expected to hit the Province of Cebu.

According to the US Joint Typhoon Warning Center, as of December 2, 2014 international typhoon Hagupit also known as Tropical Storm 22W, the Pacific typhoon has a speed of 230 knots or equivalent to 240 kph.
Based upon the JTWC 00Z Advisory No. 5, Tropical Storm Hagupit forecast intensity was adjusted to 130 knots (240kph) from the previous forecasts at 190 kph. The weather agency noted that the Pacific region expects steady intensification over warm waters with good outflow.
In the Philippines PAGASA, did not release any tropical depression warning because Bagyong Hagupit is not yet at the Philippine Areas of Responsibility.
According to the latest weather bulletin of PAGASA, Cagaan Valley and the Provinces of Apayao and Ilocos Norte will have cloudy skies with light rains. The Central Luzon and the rest of Cordillera and Ilocos Region will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshower or thunderstorms.
