The newest kapamilya leading lady Liza Soberano said that she is not yet ready to have a boyfriend although she admitted earlier that she has crush on the young actor and hearthrob Enrique Gil.
Speaking with ABS-CBN News on Sunday, the teen actress said she is prioritizing her career rather on having a romantic relationship with someone since she is still young.
“Sa ngayon hindi pa po talaga [ako ready sa kahit anong relationship] kasi bata pa po ako. My focus is on acting and being better. Hindi ko pa po talaga iniisip ‘yung mga love life or whatever,” she said.
The 16-year-old Star Magic artist is currently working for the upcoming TV series “Forevermore” with her on-screen partner Enrique Gil. It is set to be aired on Monday after “Hawak-Kamay” as part of ABS-CBN’s Primetime Bida line-up.
Liza Soberano does not mind also being compared to the love team of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo or “KathNiel,” saying that their love team was already established compared to her and Enrique Gil.
“Established na ‘yung love team nila. Hindi namin iniisip na kailangan kapantay namin ‘yung Kathniel or anything. Whatever the outcome, okay lang sa amin,” she said.
Aside from “Forevermore,” Liza Soberano is also gearing up for the upcoming movie “The Bet,” which was based from the Wattpad story of the same title. She will be paired again with Enrique Gil.
“The Bet” will mark the second big screen project of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil together after the 2013 romantic film “She’s the One.”
