The former kapamilya star Marvin Agustin has officially returned to ABS-CBN network. This was confirmed by ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe on Wednesday October 22.

According to MJ Felipe, the “Tanging Yaman” actor is set to do a TV series with the network. He also wants to have a reunion project with his former on-screen partner, Jolina Magdangal.
The 35-year-old actor admitted that he became emotional during the first day of shooting of his upcoming series. “Dito ako lumaki, dito ako nagsimula. I was 16 when i started. Im Very emotional,” he said.
Marvin Agustin is a former Star Magic artist and he left his home network in 2004. His last project with ABS-CBN was “Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas,” which was topbilled by Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa, before he transferred to GMA-7.
Marvin Agustin used to be a part of the defunct sitcom “Whattamen” with the late Rico Yan and Dominic Ochoa. The show also features the “Comedy Queen” Ai-Ai delas Alas.
Aside from being an actor, Marvin Agustin is also a businessman. He owns three restaurants and a company that specializes in production of event and concerts.
Meanwhile, Marvin Agustin is currently busy promoting his upcoming comedy movie “Moron 5.2” which also stars Luis Manzano, DJ Durano, Billy Crawford and Matteo Guidicelli. The film was directed by the box-office director Wenn V. Deramas and will be released on November 5, 2014.
