The finalists of the top-rating show in the country, The Voice Kids Philippines shares their Christmas wishes for the year 2014. The finalists namely Lyca Gairanod, Darlene Vibares and Juan Karlos Labajo were present during the launch of Jollibee’s Maaga ang Pasko toy and book drive.
The program initiated by one of the country’s most popular fast food chain, Jollibee, will also celebrate its 20th year of the program for kids. Jollibee encouraged kids and their parents to donate old or used books and toys that could still be used by the less fortunate children, and somehow grant their small wishes.
The finals of The Voice Kids Philippines, is considered as one of the most watched episode of the show, featuring the youngest finalist, Lyca Gairanod being adjudged as the ultimate winner of the competition paving the way for more projects not only with Lyca but also her fellow finalists.
During the launching of Jollibee’s Maaga and Pasko project, the finalists of the top-rating show in the country were asked to share their Christmas wishes and listed below are their answers.
Darlene: Ako ang wish ko lang po sa lahat ng bata, sana po ‘yong talents n’yo ‘wag po kayong mahiyang ipakita ‘yan. Kasi po bigay po ‘yan ni God para po umahon kayo sa kahirapan.
At sa lahat po ng may sakit, kahit ano pong sakit, take care always po and ‘wag kayong mawawalan ng pag-asa na isipin n’yo po na, ‘wala na akong pag-asang mabuhay sa mundo,’ mayro’n pa pong pag-asa.Kasi po binibigyan kayo ni Papa Jesus ng buhay para maging masaya po kayo.
At ang wish ko po sa mama at papa ko na lagi po kayong happy. Sana po magmahalan kayo at ‘wag po kayong magtatalo. At sana sa mga kapatid ko naman po, sana po makapagtapos po sila ng pag-aaral.
At sa wish ko naman po, sana mas dumami pa ‘yong pumasok na blessing.
Lyca: Sana po ‘yong pangarap ko po makapag-aral nang maayos ‘yong mga kapatid ko, pati na rin po ako. At sana makaahon po kami sa hirap.

Juan Karlos: First of all thank you po kay Lord sa lahat ng blessings na natanggap po naming top 6, andsa mga blessings na darating pa po.
Wish ko lang po sa Christmas, ayon po, iwas sakit na po sana. Tapos lahat po ng tao makamit po nila ‘yong mga pangarap nila. Tulad po ni ng sinabi nila, ‘yong mga batang nahihiya po na ilabas po angtalent ninyo, ‘wag po kayong mahiya. Kasi kagaya ng sabi ni Darlene, gift ‘yan ni God, binigay ‘yan niLord sa inyo para maipakita sa ibang tao kung anong mayro’n kayo, so ‘wag kayo mahiya.
Then for my family, wish ko for Christmas safe tsaka iwas sa sakit. For my mom, sana okay ka lang dyan sa langit. And ‘yon, I hope magkaro’n ng visiting hours sa heaven para makabisita rin ako [sa mama ko].
