The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Matt Evans is excited to welcome his second baby as his non-showbiz wife Katrina Fariñas is due to give birth to the newest member of their family later this month.
In an interview with Pep.ph, the “Pure Love” star said that they already had a name for their daughter. “Hayley napakagsunduan namin, kasi si Hayley Williams sa Paramore [American band]. Sobrang gustung-gusto ko ‘yung banda na ‘yun, ‘yung vocalist nila na babae. Actually, it’s Hayley Marley, so Hayley Marley Evans,” he said.
Matt Evans also said that he wanted his wife to undergo an ultrasound check up again to see their child again and to be sure that the baby is doing good and healthy.
The 25-year-old actor’s first child is with his former live-in partner Johnelline Hickens whom he had a disagreement with which leads to his brief arrest last 2012.
Matt Evans said that he still gets to see their daughter Natalie Kurt adding that he and Johnelline Hickens had already settled the case. He stressed that they are trying to maintain a good relationship for the sake of their daughter.
“Okay na kami, settled na kami. Tapos na tapos na ‘yung kaso at nagkasundo na kami. Actually, natulungan din kami nung pinaka-judge namin at siyempre si Lord,” he said.
Meanwhile, Matt Evans shared also how fortunate he is to have a supportive wife who understands the demands of being an actor. According to him, his wife always prepares what he needs for his work.
