One of the hottest teen star in the country, Alicia Ilacad will portray the famous role of Maricel Soriano in the 1985 remake of “Inday Bote” which is set to conquer the Philippine TV viewing habits of Filipinos. Alexa Ilacad will be launched together with Nash Aguas in the upcoming series.
Alexa Ilacad is a former member of “Goin’ Bulilit,” she was also one of the casts of the youth-oriented show on ABS-CBN titled “LUV U” alongside fellow “Goin’ Bulilit” star Nash Aguas.
The Kapamilya Channel is now preparing both Alexa Ilacad and Nash Aguas on their latest televison show tandem. According to Alexa she felt the pressure right now upon learning the news that she will portray one of the most popular character played by Maricel Soriano during the 80’s.
In an interview with Pep.Ph, Alexa noted that she will try her best to give justice to the character first portrayed by Maricel Soriano. She stated that she will undergo various workshop to prepare herself in such a challenging role.
According to Alexa she already watched the original movie “Inday Bote” with her mommy, they both saw the movie through ABS-CBN Blockbusters. The latest Nash Aguas and Alexa Ilacad tandem will be under the direction of award-winning director Wenn Deramas.
