Alexander “Axel” David Torres of the De La Salle Zobel Junior Archers and current member of UAAP’s DLSU Green Archers is the first Pinoy Big Brother housemate introduced to the media on Sunday during ASAP 19.
Axel Torres was born on August 17, 1993, he is currently studying at De La Salle University-Manila . He is a former Candy Cutie 2011 and dubbed as PBB All In’s “Jock-Next-Door of Taguig City.
The UAAP basketball star Axel Torres is the brother of Thomas Torres, one of the most popular member of the DLSU Green Archers in the UAAP. During Axel Torres’ varsity years at De La Salle Zobel he became a member of the Mythical Team averaging 10.8 points and 1.8 steals for the Junior Archers.
Axel Torres was also second in three-point shooting accuracy at 30.2% during his High School varsity days playing for the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
