Anne Curtis Releases Statement After Jellyfish Sting Incident

Anne Curtis took to her Twitter account on Friday, April 4, 2014 to release a statement regarding the jellyfish sting incident she was involved which nearly took her life.

Anne Curtis stated that she was lucky to survive the tragic incident. The Kapamilya actress was stung by a box jellyfish while taping her top-rating fantasy series, “Dyesebel.”

Here’s the Twitter statement of Anne Curtis:

“Good Morning everyone!!!! Feeling a bit better today! Praise God! After reading some of the other articles you guys found & tweeted me, I really feel I’ve been given a 2nd chance at life,” Anne Curtis said.

“The doctors told me I’m very lucky. The last case they had come in with the same case, a box jellyfish sting, the girl was out straight into the ICU. It’s quite a scary thought. When we were on our way to the local and closest hospital near our set, I noticed that I couldn’t feel my legs & slowly couldn’t breathe properly. I thought I was going to die,” she further added.

Anne Curtis thanked God for surviving the incident. The “It’s Showtime” co-host also thanked her fans and  supporters who have expressed their messages of concern to the actress.

According to the previous report, Anne Curtis who was stung by a box jellyfish was rushed to hospitals in Batangas before she was brought to St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bonifacio Global City where she was confined.
