The American singer Rex Smith who insulted Charice in Cebu City last Tuesday visited the country for a benefit concert intended for the victims of the super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) in the Visayas.
Rex Smith became controversial after the camp of international singer and former Glee star Charice revealed to the media that she was insulted by the visiting American singer who is known for his popular song such as “Simply Jesse” and “You Take My Breathe Away” to name a few.

The latest album of Rex Smith was released in 2000 and titled “Simply…Rex.” It was re-released in 2006 and re-titled “You Take My Breath Away.”
