The beaten incident happened at Forbeswood Condominium, Fort Bonifacio Taguig last January 22, 2014 to the 37-year-old comedian-actor Vhong Navarro is considered as the most talk issue in social media, involving 22-year-old Deniece Cornejo who is also a former student of La Salle along with the businessman Cedric Lee and his business partners.
On the other hand, on Sunday model-actress Deniece Cornejo was interviewed on “Startalk” which aired on GMA 7 and she explained about her complain to Vhong Navarro that she was the victim and not the actor who is currently recovering in the hospital due to his condition.
However, as Deniece Cornejo explained her side, she quoted ““Kung mapapansin nyo po, lagi nalang po panig ni Vhong. Di pa po naririrnig. Di pa po nabibigyan ng pagkakataon magsalita ang mga taong naapektohan at biktima,” and she also clarified that her camp don’t have any plans to migrate in running away with the issue, meanwhile with her statements, still there were some believe and other’s don’t believe her.
After Deniece Cornejo was interviewed on Startalk, during the segment “Pogay” of “It’s Showtime,” Vice Ganda the co-host of Vhong Navarro spoof the actress with her gestures and the things she was saying during that time which went viral online.
