Boxing promoter Don King of legendary fighter Muhammad Ali hopes high for the much-awaited bout between Filipino champ Manny Pacquiao and undisputed American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. reportedly set on September 2014.
Don King is behind the successful fights of boxing legends including Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Mike Tyson, Larry Holmes and among others and his promotional career highlights “The Rumble in the Jungle” and “Thrilla in Manila” featuring Muhammad Ali’s greatest fights which dominates viewers and supporters.
“Yes it could happen! Boxers are people and people are boxers and sometimes you get caught up in the position of money, and you got to be able to deal with what’s the real power,” Don King said.
Recently, a video report from YouTube news channel 78Sports TV circulated the social media which went into various hit, after the latter announce the upcoming slugfest between great contenders, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather.

Pacquiao and Mayweather went over from their victories in their respective fights. Manny Pacquiao who defeated Brandon Rios in 12-rounds rumble in Macao, set his comeback inside the ring after absorbing his brutal knockout from the hands of Juan Manuel Marquez.
Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather Jr. continued his dominance in his boxing career and retains his title as pound-for-pound king after his last bouts against challengers Robert Guerero and Saul Canelo Alvarez.
After all the controversies and failed negotiations both camps’ supporters are surely eager to witness this one of a kind encounter as the upcoming deal on September 2014 will mark the boxing history.
